Plot twist, it’s actually great!

We absolutely adored our stay! Spacious and well-thought-out family apartment with fantastic kitchen amenities. Friendly staff made our trip memorable, helping with everything including luggage storage. The location couldn’t be better—just a stone's throw from Ueno station and surrounded by convenience stores and restaurants.

The hotel itself was nice and the staff were very friendly.

Our experience was marred by the distance from the subway, as it was quite a walk from the station, which was inconvenient when dragging luggage. Additionally, the lack of readily available amenities like toothbrushes and room shoes was frustrating, making it feel less accommodating. The dryer in the laundry room was ineffective, leaving our clothes damp even after a long cycle.

The staff was absolutely amazing! They engaged with my kids and made our stay super fun. Room was comfy for our fam, but the bathroom could've used a bit more space. 😊

this place was quite underwhelming, i slept on mattresses harder than concrete—so comfy, right? oh, and excellent communication skills with staff are sorely lacking, but don’t worry I’m sure they’re just busy. of course, i expected an upgrade for my struggles, but who doesn’t like mediocre service? you know, just couldn’t bring myself to give a good review.

We loved our stay in the Connecting Japanese Apartment. The room size was spacious, and the dining area with a big table was perfect for family gatherings. It’s great that they have games like Jenga and UNO available, which the kids really enjoyed playing in the tatami area.

The air-conditioning had a minor leakage issue.

the bunk beds were a hit with the kids, making sleeping arrangements fun. sometimes, only one lift was a hassle during busy times.

the one elevator sometimes had a long wait. loved the spacious rooms and the kitchenette was super helpful for meals. location is perfect for getting to the train station and nearby food spots.

It was just a great fit for a lightning trip in Tokyo offering outstanding value. The kids loved the bunk beds, making bedtime fun. Check the laundry facilities in advance, they tend to take longer than expected.

Comfortable room, modern facility, I appreciated the convenient luggage storage and the complimentary Wi-Fi which made planning my day a breeze, as the hotel is just 500 meters from the nearest subway station.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Ueno Station which makes getting around easy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to assist us, especially with the laundry facilities which were crucial for our family. We appreciated the spacious apartment, perfect for our family setup, enhancing our overall comfort during our stay. I also enjoyed the convenience of nearby shops and restaurants for quick meals.

The bathroom could have used a little more space, which made getting ready with kids slightly cramped.

mimaru is a great spot for families! the room was spacious and super clean. we loved the location near ueno park, museums, and delicious dining options. the concierge service was wonderful and made check-in and check-out a breeze. it was also close to shopping, which was a bonus.

The connecting Japanese apartment was perfect for our family, and the kitchen space came in handy for meals. The bathroom setup was great, especially with separate toilets and a shower room. We loved the nearby market, making it easy to stock up on snacks for the kids.
